Customers old or new, near or far, large or small, Christmas loving or Christmas hating, this is for you…
Christmas/year in review articles are available for only £59!
Before we know it, 2019 is coming to an end. Santa’s sack is full and Bublé is coming out of his usual hibernation.
For me, as well as sacks and songs, far too much mulled wine, craft beer and good, hearty food, this time of year is my period of reflection, recognition, and recalibration.
The 3 R’s
Reflection – what’s worked well, and what hasn’t?
Recognition – have we achieved our goals, or perhaps even, exceeded them? At Pearson Brown we heartily celebrate our wins and learn from our losses.
Recalibration – new year, new start. Both good things and bad will have happened in 2019. Plans will need to have changed; strategies kept fluid. Regardless of all the micro outcomes though, it’s time to re-target, re-plan, re-focus, and go again in 2020.
As well as enjoying the festive season, they’re my jobs over Christmas and New Year – figuring out and implementing the 3 r’s.
How has 2019 been for your business?
It’s time to go all-out self-promotion!
Not something I usually advocate when putting out content, especially blog articles, but hey, it’s Christmas – let’s relax the rules a bit!
We’ll tell the world how great the year has been. We’ll share the biggest challenges too, it’s important to be real and authentic, always.
Your year in review
Now is the time for you to shout from the rooftops about your business and let your customers and prospects know that they can count on you next year and beyond.
What to include:
- Big business wins
- Big news
- New hires
- Important milestones
- How you’ve impacted the local community
- Charitable activity
- Personal accolades
- Anecdotes!
Anything else you want to include that you think would interest your audience is great too.
As always with your blog, it’s important to remember that it’s a tool to serve your audience – by providing value and letting them know what’s in it for them. We’ll make sure this article is no different despite the element of self-promotion.
Here’s some benefits you can expect in return:
- Brand loyalty
- Enhanced reputation
- Admiration and gratitude
- New enquiries
- More engaged employees and stakeholders
Your year in review article is your chance to stand out in the crowd, engage and interest potential customers, build your brand equity with those who already know you, and set yourself up for a great 2020.
It also serves as a valuable comparison tool for the future. Wouldn’t it be interesting to look back this time next year and see the difference in your business?
Let’s go!
You didn’t read it wrong; we are actually doing these fully-fledged articles for just £59.

Christmas, perhaps, is the time to try something new. To try something that could change the course of your 2020. To put your business out there in a more powerful and engaging way.
Maybe Santa will bring you all the success you want, or maybe you’ll need to share your story with the world and make things happen for yourself.
Wishing can be good but pro-active action is usually better 😉
